PicknDeli

Privacy policy

Effective 2 October 2026 · Lotapay Technologies

PicknDeli is a marketplace that connects people who need something moved with drivers nearby. Lotapay Technologies (Harare, Zimbabwe) runs it and is responsible for the personal information described here. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it and what you can do about it.

What we collect

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who can see it

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. Delivery and payment records are kept for as long as financial and tax law requires, even after an account is deleted, because they also belong to the other party to the transaction. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the app's settings. Deletion erases or overwrites your name, contact details, identity details, photos and sign-in credentials, and signs out every device. What is left is an anonymous record that the other side of past deliveries and payments still points to; it cannot be linked back to you or signed into. Deletion is refused only while you are part of a delivery that is still in progress.

Your choices and rights

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections. Passwords and reset codes are stored hashed. Access to personal information is limited to the people and systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.

Children

PicknDeli is not meant for anyone under 18, and drivers must be adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
